City and Aisle is an independent, city by city guide to wedding venues across the United States.
Why this site exists
Choosing a venue is the biggest single decision in most weddings, and the most expensive. Yet the information couples get is a sales pitch here, a star rating there, and two hundred reviews nobody has time to read. Comparing two venues usually means translating between two different pitches.
We built City and Aisle to fix that one problem. Every venue page here records the same set of facts in the same order: real guest capacity, how the pricing actually works, whether catering is in-house or open, what the alcohol rules are, which amenities are included rather than charged as extras, and how far ahead couples are booking.
How we handle reviews
We read what couples have published across Google, The Knot, WeddingWire and Zola, then write up the recurring patterns in our own words. We never republish anyone’s review. What you get is the thing you would only notice after reading all of them: which complaints keep coming back, and whether a problem is the venue itself or one vendor inside a package. Every page shows which sources were read and when they were last checked.
How we make money
The site is supported by advertising, and in future may include affiliate links to products we genuinely recommend. What we do not do is just as important: no venue pays to be listed or ranked, no venue can remove a complaint from its page, we do not take bookings, and we do not sell your details to anyone as a lead.
How cities are chosen
We cover one city at a time and finish it properly before starting the next. A city is only published once every venue on the page has the full field set completed. That makes the site grow slowly, and we are fine with that.
Corrections
If you run a venue we have listed and something is wrong, tell us through the contact page. We check corrections against the source and update the page. Corrections are free, always.
