Wedding Venues in Chandler, AZ
Chandler holds the widest range of wedding venues in the East Valley: a castle, a 1912 golf resort, a downtown industrial space, an 1880s western town and a resort that can seat 600. It is also where the Phoenix metro meets the Gila River Indian Community, which is why two of its largest venues sit on tribal land.

Mid-sized weddings that want the Ashley Castle group service at a smaller scale.
-
Couples who want a garden ceremony and a ballroom reception with a day-of coordinator included in the price.
-
Weekend weddings in downtown Chandler where guests need rooms and everything within walking distance.
-
Couples who want in-house decor and packages but also the option to bring their own caterer.
-
Couples wanting water and lawn views, and anyone planning a Chandler wedding from out of state.
-
Couples wanting a full western theme that entertains guests for the whole evening rather than just a dinner.
-
Rehearsal dinners, receptions and smaller weddings where the food and beer are the point.
-
The largest guest counts in the East Valley, and destination weddings where everyone stays on the property.

Large multicultural weddings that want a distinctive building and a team used to running events at scale.

Chandler covers a wider range than any other East Valley city
Mesa runs on all-inclusive halls. Gilbert runs on small owner-operated venues. Chandler does not have a single dominant type, and that is the reason to look here: almost any wedding format has a venue that fits it.
It is also the only city in this guide with a genuine answer for very large guest lists. Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass handles 600 with rooms for all of them, and Rawhide goes higher still for outdoor events. Nothing in Mesa, Gilbert or Tucson comes close.
Where the venues sit
Price Road in south Chandler holds three venues on effectively one site: The Ashley Castle, Ashley Manor and Bella Rose Estate. You can tour all three in an afternoon, and you should, because they are commonly confused with each other.
Downtown Chandler around San Marcos Place and Boston Street holds the 1912 Crowne Plaza San Marcos, SoHo63 and SanTan Brewing, all within a few minutes on foot. This is the area to pick if you want guests walking between the ceremony, the reception and their hotel.
West Chandler toward Interstate 10 covers Ocotillo Golf Club and, on Gila River Indian Community land, the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass and Rawhide.
Arizona Avenue north of downtown is where Crystal Reception Hall sits, the smallest and most flexible of the group.
What a Chandler wedding venue costs
All-inclusive packages apply at the Price Road venues and Crystal Reception Hall, covering catering, bar, coordination and often decor and DJ.
Per person pricing applies at the resorts and golf clubs. The site fee looks modest and food and bar carry the cost, so this favours smaller guest lists. At the resorts, check the nightly resort fee and parking charge separately, because they sit outside your event quote and surprise people negotiating room blocks.
Flat site rental applies at Rawhide and SanTan Brewing.
The one thing worth reading the reviews for
Two Chandler venues have a specific, repeated pattern in their feedback that is easy to miss and expensive to discover late.
At The Ashley Castle, several couples who rated the venue highly still recommended sourcing catering and DJ from outside rather than taking the preferred vendors. At both Crowne Plaza San Marcos and Ocotillo Golf Club, couples report coordinator turnover during planning, and in one case commitments made by a departed employee were only honoured once emails were produced.
The lesson is the same at both: get inclusions in writing, and confirm who your day-of contact will be.
Season, heat and the monsoon
Chandler runs the same calendar as Phoenix, Mesa and Gilbert. October through April is peak, and Saturday dates at the strong venues go twelve to eighteen months ahead. Daytime outdoor ceremonies are not realistic from May through September.
Monsoon storms from July into mid September bring dust and short heavy rain. Rawhide is the most exposed venue on this list, being largely outdoors on unpaved ground, so ask specifically what the wet-weather plan is there.
Questions worth asking on every Chandler tour
- On Price Road: which of the three venues is this quote for, and could another event run alongside mine?
- Which package vendors are fixed, and what changes if I bring my own caterer or DJ?
- Who will my day-of contact be, and what happens if that person leaves?
- At resorts: what is the nightly resort fee and parking charge on a room block?
- What is the covered fallback, and how many people does it hold?
- Is parking paved and on site?
- What time must amplified music stop?
How we compiled this list
Every venue here is inside Chandler city limits or on the adjoining Gila River Indian Community land within the Chandler address area. Venues in Sun Lakes, Gilbert, Mesa and Tempe are excluded even though they appear on most Chandler lists.
We read published reviews across Google, The Knot, WeddingWire and Zola, then wrote the recurring patterns in our own words rather than republishing anyone's review. Several venues here are hotels, restaurants and public attractions whose overall ratings reflect day visitors rather than weddings, and we have said so on each page where that applies. No venue paid to be listed or ranked.
