How this guide is put together
Most venue directories list a name, a photo and a star rating, then send you somewhere else. That is not useful when you are comparing eight venues and trying to work out which two are worth a tour.
So every venue page here records the same set of facts in the same order: how many guests the space holds, whether pricing is per person, a flat rental or a package, whether catering is in-house or open, what the alcohol rules are, and which amenities are actually included rather than charged as extras.
What we do with reviews
We read what couples have written across Google, The Knot, WeddingWire and Zola, then write up the patterns in our own words. We do not republish anyone's review. What you get instead is the thing you would only notice after reading two hundred of them: which complaints keep coming back, and whether they are about the venue itself or about one vendor in a package.
What we are not
City and Aisle does not take bookings, does not sell leads and is not paid by any venue to be listed or ranked. Pricing and availability always need confirming with the venue directly, because both change with the season and the day of the week.
